Megan surprised us with a delicious Apple Pi to celebrate Pi Day!

Alyssa made some of the first actin tactoids in our lab at Clemson! An exciting day!

Sam and Alyssa prepared and imaged our first TEM grids! Thanks to Clemson’s awesome Electron Microscopy facility for help!

Alyssa and John polymerized some beautiful long actin filaments in our very own lab and learned a little confocal fluorescence imaging.

We polymerized actin filaments and imaged with the Alper Lab’s home built optical tweezer/ fluorescence microscope. We are thrilled to have Clemson Actin and friends in the Alper Lab! Thanks Subash for helping us with your super setup!
