The Weirich Lab is an interdisciplinary and collaborative soft matter research group. We are a growing group and have openings available. We welcome inquiries from students and postdocs interested in soft and biological materials, from a variety of scientific and engineering backgrounds.

We are based in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Clemson University.

We are excited to be affiliated with the Clemson University School of Health Research (CUSHR), Materials Assembly and Design Excellence in South Carolina (MADE in SC), a NSF project advancing collaborative materials research between South Carolina universities, the Center for Optical Materials Science and Engineering Technologies (COMSET), and Clemson’s new Medical Biophysics Graduate Program.
